作“介意”或“在乎”讲， mind 这个动词要用名词作宾语；但是，在用于否定或疑问两种结构的时候，则要用动名词短语作宾语，如作“小心别……”讲，则以跟不定式短语为宜。
例如：
You mind strong coffee, don't you? 咖啡浓一些，你就不喜欢喝，是吗？（要用名词作宾语）
Would you mind taking this letter to the post for me? 请你把这封信去寄一寄，好吗？（要用动名词短语作宾语）
I will give you some cherries, but must mind not to swallowthe stones. 我给你一些樱桃吃，可要注意别把果核也一起吞吃了。（要用不定式短语作宾语）
